When should I begin bridal shopping?
We recommend beginning your bridal search 12-10 months prior to your wedding for a blissful shopping experience. The best time to place your bridal order is 10-8 months before your wedding date for Made-to-Order Collection Gowns. Custom Designs and Bespoke Specialty evening gowns require 12 -9 months to order prior to your wedding or event.
Rush orders are accommodated on a limited basis with the exception of veils and accessories. Please reach out to us to discuss your options in advance so we may do our best to accommodate.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, our studio is by appointment only. We work with brides one-on-one to offer a personable and private shopping experience. Each appointment allocates for one hour with a buffer in between. If you need more time, we will gladly schedule a complimentary return appointment.
What is the average price range of your gowns?
Our gowns range from £2,000 and up with the majority in the £3,500 range from our Made-to-Order Collection. Custom and Bespoke Designs vary and we welcome you to get in touch to discuss.
How does the ordering process work?
If you find ‘the one,’ we begin by congratulating you as a Marcela Giocanti Bride!
Next, we will take your measurements and begin the process of making your gown. Due to the made-to-order nature of our studio, full payment is required upfront. Once payment is complete, your order will begin production at our atelier immediately. We work closely with our team to communicate and ensure your order is completed in a timely fashion.
Once your order is complete at our atelier in approximately 4-6 months, we will reach out to schedule a Fitting Appointment. During this time, you have the opportunity to try on your gown and make any additional fit changes.
Bespoke Brides will be contacted to schedule a series of design and fit sessions to ensure your custom toile is fitted perfectly before the final gown is made in your chosen bridal fabrics and details are finalised.
What sample sizes are available to try on?
Our Studio samples range from select sizes from 8-14 UK. As a sustainably-focused bridal brand, we carry only one sample of each style and place all bridal orders on a made-to-order basis. Orders will be in your own size measurements.
We plan to offer a more inclusive range of sample sizes in the future as our business grows. For Bespoke Brides, we offer custom-measured toiles (sample garments) of your design to try at each fitting.
What does Made-to-Order mean?
Made-to-order implies that the item is not currently in-stock and begins production at the atelier after purchase. This production style aligns with our ethos on ethical fashion and promoting less fashion industry waste.
Do you offer alterations?
In-house alterations are offered in the UK for Made-to-Order Bridal Collections at an additional cost after the initial fitting. Alterations are inclusive of all Bespoke Bridal and Custom Evening Gown orders above £5000 excluding additional design changes. At this time, we do not offer in-house alterations for brides outside the UK for Made-to-Order bridal collections. We recommend seeking a professional tailor outside of our showroom for any minor adjustments. We are happy to suggest local tailors to you!
